Reupholstery & repairs
Sofas, chairs, sectionals, leather couches and cushions rebuilt and recovered — frames, foam, seams and all.
Holger Mejia's Howell Mill workshop is where Atlanta designers and homeowners bring the hard jobs — oversized drapes, worn leather, marine cushions, one-off custom pieces — and get them back quickly and done right. It's the promise in the name, and customers keep confirming both halves.
They just reupholstered a complete set of salon cushions from my boat — PERFECTLY and turned them around in 2 DAYS.— Scott Farmer, Google review
An excellent job on my very large, very heavy, complicated drapes. Perfectly done, great job at a fair price.— Steven B., Yelp review
Everything is quote-based custom work — tell us the piece and the fabric, and Holger's team gives you an honest price and a real timeline.
Sofas, chairs, sectionals, leather couches and cushions rebuilt and recovered — frames, foam, seams and all.
One-off benches, headboards, banquettes and built pieces made to your dimensions and materials.
Custom draperies, valances, cornice boxes and Roman shades — including oversized, heavy panels.
Boat and marine cushions, cabin interiors and automobile seating re-covered to hold up to real use.
Upholstered walls, restaurant booths and bars for designers, offices and hospitality spaces.
Antique furniture restoration plus wood finishing and repair — caring for pieces responsibly.
Also: slipcovers, cushions, pillows, lampshades, table covers and bed coverings. Not sure if it fits? Ask — it usually does.
Tired leather couches and dated sofas come back structurally sound and looking new — the kind of turnaround one customer said left them “no longer embarrassed.”
Interior designers hand over the complicated pieces — heavy custom drapes, benches drawn from a sketch — and get them measured twice and delivered installed.
Boat salon cushions and cabin interiors rebuilt to survive sun and water — a specialty most upholstery shops won't touch.

Fast & Great Upholstery has more than two decades in the upholstery trade, private and commercial. Owner Holger Mejia leads a team of master upholsterers who, in the shop's own words, “pay attention to every detail” — and stand behind the work they send out.
The Howell Mill warehouse is fully equipped with traditional upholstery tools and machines, so hard materials and oversized pieces stay in-house from teardown to delivery. Customers describe Holger as hands-on: he'll draw out your vision, ask the clarifying questions, and let you drop by with fabric samples.
“Did exactly as I was hoping for. Perfectly done, great job at a fair price. I will continue to use them again.”— Steven B. · 5-star Yelp review · Aug 2025 · on a large, heavy, complicated set of drapes
Have enjoyed working with Holger and his company for years with my business. They just reupholstered a complete set of salon cushions from my boat — PERFECTLY and turned them around in 2 DAYS.
They did a fantastic job making new cushion covers for my boat, really quality job. Good prices and easy to work with.
Did exactly as I was hoping for. They did an excellent job on my very large scale very heavy complicated drapes. Perfectly done, great job at a fair price. I will continue to use them again.
The team was transparent with pricing and ensured the custom piece was created exactly as I wanted. He took the time to draw out my vision and asked clarifying questions… 10/10 recommend!!!
They repaired my leather couches and now I'm no longer embarrassed.
I was shocked to see any bad reviews at all based on the experience that I have had on numerous occasions. The pictured items have all been reupholstered by Holger.
